This is the first set from the first ever session of Doctor Splash studio on Live Dunk Tank. It also introduces Lauren L taking her first turn in my dunk tank. She has been in a dunk tank before, but nothing like this. She started out cool as a cucumber. Then began to see the chat filling up and could not believe that so many people were turning out to dunk her. I do not follow the Philly sessions as often as I would like. Usually too much to do when they are live, but this is the most people I have ever seen in the chat room. The column had a scroll bar for the first time that I have seen. Lauren started calming down toward the end of this set. She was reading the chat the entire time then began to answer questions. She eventually became very chatty addressing throwers by their screen name and conversing with them. I don`t remember how chatty she got by the end of this scene, but her first turn was none the less precious. By the end of her second set she was signed into the game on her phone and throwing at the guy that was taking turns on the perch with her.
The sad news is that we had a lot of trouble with the webcam on the first time out. The good news is that this was shot with our HD camcorder so if you missed anything while she was live, you can see it all here.
Lauren did this entire set in jeans and a top. I enjoyed this session more than anything I have done with my tank in quite some time. The energy in the studio was very high. It is difficult to imagine the level of excitement that comes from a dunkie conversing with a player on the other side of the world almost as if they were here. True it also takes a special kind of dunkie to take it to that level, but Lauren turned out to be that kind of dunkie. |
